Analyzing Sales Data of a Supercenter Company in Myanmar

In this project, I examined the historical sales data of a supercenter company in Myanmar. The dataset covers three months and includes information on customer details, spending amounts, and shopping experience ratings. Here is the Power BI report I created:

Using MySQL and Jupyter Notebook, I created a database and analyzed the dataset using MySQL and Python. The analysis aimed to provide valuable insights to the supercenter owners. Additionally, I utilized Power BI to generate a comprehensive report of those insights.

By delving into the dataset, I discovered key trends, such as:

• In early hours of the day, the majority of sales are generated by female customers

• Underperforming product categories based on both gender and location

• How well each location is performing

• Spending habits, rather than demographic characteristics, account for variations among customers

• Certain product categories exhibit unusual monthly sales trends

The Power BI report effectively visualizes these findings, allowing the management team to make informed decisions for business growth.

This project showcases my expertise in data analysis, database management, MySQL, Python, and data visualization with Power BI.
